TORRE GRAN, ESTARTIT and the locality

ESTARTIT  A lively village 3 km from the villa with many activities and attractions for families of all ages.  There are  amusement parks and arcades,  diving and snorkeling trips, glass bottom boat trips and tours up and down the coast.  Lots of bars and restaurants line the sea front and there is an attractive shopping street through the middle of the village.

TORROELLA DE MONTGRI This is a typical Spanish small town 3 km from the villa.  It has a market each Monday which attracts visitors from miles around.

BARCELONA   This is up to 2 hrs drive.  Alternatively you can leave your car at Flaca (20 minutes drive) and go in on the train - quick and easy with frequent services.

 Figueres The home of the Dali museum , but an attractive and busy old town with extensive designer shopping available.

 Gerona  Less than one hour's drive with a Saturday market.  Gerona has a beautiful old town with cathedral, as well as attractive shops and pedestrianised areas.
